BioLabs Expands and Rebrands Philadelphia Location as BioLabs for Advanced Therapeutics

Larissa Mogano

Philadelphia, PA - BioLabs is thrilled to announce the expansion and renaming of its Philadelphia location to BioLabs for Advanced Therapeutics. Currently under construction at the Curtis, the 30,000-square-foot incubator is set for completion by Q3 of 2025. The enhanced site will feature nine conference rooms, premium event space for life science gatherings, and a variety of specialized support labs focusing on microbiology, microscopy, process development, and more. While continuing its commitment to high-potential life science startups of all types, the newly upgraded facility will go beyond traditional coworking lab spaces by also offering an advanced suite of specialized equipment and tailored educational events designed to accelerate innovation in the advanced therapeutics sector.

A Hub for Advanced Therapeutics Collaboration

A unique highlight of Biolabs for Advanced Therapeutics will be the inclusion of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s east-coast flagship Advanced Therapies Collaboration Center (ATxCC). This embedded resource is expected to draw companies from across the eastern seaboard, providing direct access to the BioLabs community, Thermo Fisher’s expert scientists, and cutting-edge equipment for advanced therapeutics R&D and process development. A dedicated announcement detailing this collaboration will be released soon. In the meantime, please visit thermofisher.com/celltherapycollaborations to learn more about Thermo Fisher’s collaboration program.
